Life Behind the Lens
Updated: Nov 28, 2019
Hi Im Andy and this is my photography blog, Life Behind the Lens.
This blog is part of my university work but also will have articles from my personal experiences and the different types of photography I will be exploring while I study for my degree.
“I've always been a photographer it's just taken me a long time to realise it. In the last few years I've taken the decision to invest in good equipment and go on a journey of discovery rather than just take photos for fun.”
I don't want to be pigeonholed as one type of photographer, I want to keep my options open and take the photos that need to be taken. If I fancy taking a landscape one day then working with a model in the studio the next, I will have this flexibility and adaptability in my arsenal.
As for the Blog, I’ll be posting loads of engaging content, so be sure to keep checking in to see what is new. And remember to comment and let me know what you think.
BA Hons: Photography, Video and Digital Imaging
Im part way through my degree which I'm studying with Sunderland University in the Northern Centre for Photography. I selected this course over the other local options because of the range of skills it covers. It's not just a photography degree and even the photography part covers analog and digital.
The course has produced several photographers of note over the years and gets some of the best visiting lecturers and has a unique partnership with the North East Photography Network. On top of this excellent facilities and a great deal for first year students helps you with everything you need to succeed.
